When the Piccadilly line sneezes...

I couldn't believe how smooth the journey was this morning once I'd got my ticket and got onto the train. Plenty of seats, no hold-ups getting out of St P, and even the traffic waited for us at the Pancras Road crossing (rather than the other way around).

However there's a common saying that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is...

There’s a long wait to get into KX tube (one set of closed gates, another gate with only a narrow gap open, crowds by the ticket barriers, and only half the barriers open). Seems that the Piccadilly line has slight delays, causing it and the Northern line to be overcrowded and effectively a temporary closure of the tube station.

Had to be too good to last...
